Southeast Advertiser, 18 August 2010 At a time when we are filled with mistrust, cynicism and a dislike of politicians, I have been pleasantly surprised by our Chandler Ward councillor, Adrian Schrinner.In a world where we write to newspapers and ministers to complain about inefficiency, waste, arrogance, deceptiveness, lies and spin, I am happy to send a great big thank-you. We signed up to BPayView and then did not receive any refuse vouchers in the mail. We rang the BCC help line several times, to no avail. Promises were made to send them, but it did not happen. I then wrote to Cr Schrinner. That same day, when I came home from shopping, there were vouchers at my front door.Every time we have had a small or even larger problem, Cr Schrinner has donehis utmost to help and solve the problem.
